Game of the year free variety maps?

Hope this isn't a lame question but, on XBOX.com it says that you receive a token for the variety map pack and are able to download it for free. There was nothing in the game box and I couldn't find the token code on XBOX.com. Someone please help!!!

I just looked on xbox.com and it said that there is suppose to be a code with the game to download the maps for free. Have you looked all through the booklet and other papers that came with the game? Sometimes these things aren't in a real obvious place. Other than that I don't know what you can do to get the code. I'm afraid I didnt' find anymore than you did. Sorry :(

Free Variety Map Pack: The Game of the Year Edition includes a code to download the map pack from Xbox LIVE. The pack includes four new multiplayer maps - Creek, Broadcast, Chinatown, and Killhouse.

I wish the maps were free period, it sure is fun being the only person in the clan to not have the maps. :roll:

My game was like that... and the code was in it. Are you sure you're just not over looking it? It's just a long code on the booklet/paper thing.

do u know exactly where in the booklet? like what page, cause we both looked thru it and couldnt find it. xbl support said there should be a 'token' whatever that meant...and there's nothing in the game but the booklet and the disc

no and we went back to the store and made them open another copy of it and it didnt have anything extra in it either

i don't have the copy but maybe last resort is write or check out the

forums to see if this has happened to others - which I am sure it has.
maybe they have some info or direction in which you can go.

What did the store people say when they saw there was no code??
maybe as a store they can get some answers or help for you and other customers out there.

I would like to thank everyone who tried to help Illyria and I in our quest to resolve false advertising. I emailed Activision and the response was that the free variety map pack offer was a limited time offer and only the copies that say on the front and back covers that it is in that edition actually contain the code for the map pack. My response to them was to tell xbox to get it off their website where it says the map packs come with the goty edition. thank you again to everyone who tried to help, we do appreciate it :D
