Going on 5 days *Updated*

So....it is going on 5 days since I have had a cigarette! Last time I smoked was Sat. Nov 2nd. Had my rough periods but still hanging in there. I am soooo trying to quit for good this time. My goal is a week, then my goal will be a month, then I feel I should have it licked. I will be so happy when I have this disgusting habit gone out out my life for good. I hope I can just hang in there and not go back. I is a hard habit to break for sure, but I am giving it my best shot.

I am soooo proud of you and I know you can do it. I also know it's difficult but Dakk you are a strong woman and you are stronger than the habit and the addiction. :mavhug: Just remember if it gets too hard to call one of us and talk to us to help you through the rough spots.

way to go dakk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i know quitting smoking was the best thing i ever did. its been exactly 1 year, 2 months for me. i still have cravings so don't get discouraged if you do too. i just know that i can never have one again, or i am afraid i would start again. i'm so proud of you! <3

Thanks everyone for the words of encouragement. I have officially made it 5 days, going on 6 today. Little rough at times but I keep telling myself not to ruin the days I have been smoke free. I really feel that I will do it this time. Thanks again :mavhug:

Well....it has been since Nov. 2nd since I smoked a cigarette. So that makes it like 37 days I have been smoke free. I am starting to notice a difference in smell and taste. I still get a craving once in awhile but I just go do something else and then I forget about it. I hope I am smoke free forever now!
