So, i'm sitting here at work feeling a little bummed out. Just wanted to vent really...
First, I'm still sharing a car with my husband and today's the first day we had a really hard time coordinating our schedules. So I've been off of work for half an hour, and I'm still not sure if my friend is coming to get me, or if I'm waiting another hour and a half to catch a ride....
Second, I had an OBNOXIOUS ANNOYING "acquaintence" friend in town that stayed with us. I really regretted it because I had to bring her sightseeing practically the whole time and I'm practically broke because of it.
Third, My new puppy Indy is at home in his kennel and I really need to take him outside. Plus, for some reason today he wouldn't eat :( I'm worried about him. Today is the 4th day we've had him, and he's eaten fine the other 3. He was more active before. I don't know if it's because he was fixed right before we got him and he still has stitches. I don't know if it's a late reaction to the meds or what. I'm really worried about him :(
This is poop. I think I'm most worried about the puppy :(

One of my friends had their dog fixed and it didn't eat for a day or two so that is pretty normal, if it keeps up for longer than tommorow you might wanna check in with the vet. What kind of dog is it?

hey girly...that totally sucks! About Indy...I'm sure he's gonna be ok. When we brought Wendy home from the pound after being fixed it took a good 2 weeks for her really settle in..actually it was probably longer. She wouldn't eat or when she would she would throw up a little while later. You know I'm here if you wanna chat or just keep busy while you're waiting for a ride..lol Text or call whatever!

Melodyyy <3 I think Indy will be okay, it's just kind of traumatizing for the dog to be fixed and nerve-wracking for the owner when they stop eating! Hopefully he gets over it and starts eating again.
When I come out there, I won't be annoying I swear! And I won't make you take me to touristy places <3 lol

Hey Melody, like everyone else already said Indy will be fine. My dog looked lifeless after I fixed her and also took her like 2 days before she ate anything and she is perfectly fine now!
Just remember there is alot for him to get used to..new home and a surgery? I would be kinda overwhelmed too...

thanks guys, that really helps :)
and maverick, I don't mind doing touristy things, It was just a little much because it was like 5 solid days. Plus, she wasn't cool... She was someone I normally wouldn't hang out with at all which made it harder... lol. I remembered the reason that we stopped being friends in high school and couldn't stand each other. People can only change so much.

I love you. feel better?
as far as visitors go, we're fine with them as long as they don't make us want to eat our own faces off with their idiocy.
this actually happened:
Melody, her "friend", myself and 3 of my coworkers are sitting around talking about GTA4, since there had just been a commerical for it. Keep in mind this girl does NOT play video games, and she's in a room with Melody and four guys that work at gamestop. not that that makes us experts, but we obviously talk about this stuff a lot.
Melody:" I thought the graphics would be better."
Me:"You have to remember that there's a lot going on in that game world and the actual city is huge, so I can see why the graphics aren't like amazing." (all of my coworkers concur)
Friend says " Yeah, honestly Melody, you have to remember that there's a lot going on in that game world and the actual city is huge, so I can see why the graphics aren't like amazing. There might be like TWO game systems on the planet that could run it."
Wow. So let's think about this:
She was condecending to my wife. She stole my quote directly after I finished saying it. And to make matters funnier: Two systems on earth can run it. You mean maybe, I don't know, the 360 and the PS3? Thw two it's being released for maybe?
And that's not even close to the worst part, I just don't have time to type all night.
But the best part is it's over now and if she ever comes back we'll be "out of town".

Wow, I'd want to punch her in her face. Lol. I hate when people attempt to talk about something they have nooo idea about.
Melody. I hope your puppy feels better. When we got one of my old dogs fixed he didn't eat for a few days after, either. He didn't really seem to want to do anything. But he got over it, we just gave him a lot of affection and puppy hugs. :]
Take him to the vet if you think you should. Better to be on the safe side, although, I think he'll be fine. *hugs*
