new cat

hey i have a new black cat named gizmo....hes 5 months old sweet but hates being held is this for all cats or is my cat picky?

Really depends on the cat, i have 2. One loves being held and hes a snuggle bug as to were my female is a devil cat and doesnt like being touched period lol

Sometimes new kitties just need to get used to their surroundings before they feel comfortable enough to be held. And, like SicKo said, sometimes it just depends on the cat.

Even when they get used to being held, they get bored and want to bail on you.
